Blue Gum Hills Mens Shed
We are a group of men from the Wallsend area which is in the city of Newcastle in NSW Australia, who volunteer their time, skills and experience to support the local region.
Our main focus is community and charitable activities for the local region, but one of the driving concepts behind Men’s sheds is to alleviate isolation and provide men with opportunities for regular social contact, ensuring a more cohesive and inclusive society, we do this by discussing Men’s health issues and act to mentor and support men of all ages, and endeavor to teach each other new skills in the men’s shed.
Men’s Sheds are not just for men, they are for all people who want to help with activities and raising funds to help support local repairs both in our shed and in the community.
