On the second weekend in August, Wallsend Town celebrates Newcastle’s Biggest Community Carnivale the Wallsend Winter Carnivale, a fun, family day where local children save up for weeks to spend their pocket money on gifts, show bags and rides. The Wallsend Winter Carnivale attracts over 35,000 people, 100 stall holders and over 30 local businesses are open for the day as well. With Newcastles largest outdoor Circus and 2 Stages, Brass Bands in the Rotunda and Live Entertainment all day it is a great day out to spend with family and friends.
