The Wallsend Emergency Network (WEN) is a sub committee of the Wallsend Town Business Association and includes concerned business & community members.

WEN was formed as a response to the 2007 Disaster, where Wallsend Town was affected by water inundation. The WEN Committee meets on a needs basis, with quaterly publications in the Wallsend Town Business Association Newsletter.
