The Wallsend Town Business Association receives funding through the Special Levy Rate collected by Newcastle City Council for the benefit of the Wallsend Town Business Precinct.

This Business Plan has been completed by the Wallsend Town Business Association and Newcastle City Council. This business plan utlises the Special Rate Levy’s that are collected for the Wallsend Town Business Precinct and the achievement of economic development outcomes for the precinct area.

Projects for 2011 – include installation of Pots and Plants along the street, flag program, networking, new membership drive, Windows into Wallsend – Christmas Windows competition, Christmas Event, Notice board, Cleanliness and street presentation.
